1020 Soap Collection
The 1020 Soap Collection is a package design that focuses on an architectural structure found in
Stevens Point, Wisconsin. The building I was asked to design for was previously known as the Lullabye Furniture Factory. This building was known as one of the earliest wood furniture manufacturers in the area.
Because of this, I created a brand centered around the soothing scents of sandalwood and teakwood, for their more rustic and wholistic qualities. I also created a wooden compartmentalized package that served as both a container for the soap as well as personified the buildings unique characteristics.
I chose the name 1020 for the buildings address and referred to the package as a post and lintel collection for its distinct architectural elements and method of construction. This soap is to be sold at both boutiques and on site for all of the residents and visitors that step foot in this iconic structure.
